QUANTITATIVE SURVEY ANALYSIS
STUDENT VIEWS ON PHYSICAL ACTIVITY IN THE CLASSROOM
We administer surveys to students from elementary to post-secondary institutions to better understand the challenges of incorporating more physical activity into the school day. It's not only vital to determine how physical activity impacts cognitive function and academic success, but also what type, frequency, duration, and intensity of physical activity will students enjoy participating in? We recognize that enjoyment is a cornerstone for maximal long-term uptake of any intervention.
TEACHER VIEWS ON PHYSICAL ACTIVITY IN THE CLASSROOM
We also administer surveys to teachers from elementary to post-secondary institutions to better understand their unique challenges to altering the classroom dynamic to incorporate more physical activity. Some challenges that we aim to better understand are limited teaching time, curriculum coverage expectations, and individual differences across students.
